Nigeria will be forced to disintegrate if current trend and wave of violence melted on the nation's minorities is not checked convener Ex Niger Delta Militants Revolutionary Front, General JonhJohn Bosco Caterpilar said, while speaking with newsmen in an exclusive interaction. He condemned the attack on minorities resident in northern Nigeria whose business and livelihood have been cut short due to the incessant violence and bomb blasts which have caused migrations and made them refugees in their own country.
He said the recent wave of attacks by the extremist as planned to destabilise the goverment of Goodluck Jonathan in a bid to discredit and terrorise it, and that the Niger Delta Militants who willingly decided to surrender their armed struggle will soon be pushed back into violence to defend their kith and kin.
The General further called on security agencies to apprehend the northern leaders who had through various comments promoted violence and inhumanity perpetrated in the north. He expected that the security agencies should have been able to tell the numbers of people they have arrested for being against the state , like inciting the people to violence, treason and even terrorism.
I am joining my Igbo brothers who have called for self defence, let everyone who has no form of defence mechanism go and fortify themselves immediately, it is obvious that war is inevitable since the north sees Nigeria as its property and leaving others behind he said.
He further condemned the recent attacks on the presidents convoy in Gombe state while disapproving the silence and inaction that followed the assassination attempt.
He stated clearly that the north is tactically disenfranchhising the Southerners , that threats and violence has been visited on Niger Deltans and other minorities , based on their decision to support Goodluck Jonathan.
He believe the upcoming presidential election has already been rigged since Mr Goodluck Jonathan's supporters are being forced out of the north on daily basis without their vote being tranfered to their home states and to him this is systematic rigging and marginalisation and they won't sit back and allow their people suffer such injustice.
