Honduras: Three models shot dead in cold blood

Alma Mariela Vargas 28, Madelyn Ramirez Zambrano 21 and Blanca Velasquez Alejandra Mejia 20 were being driven in a Toyota SUV in the Valle de Angeles area of Tegucigalpa the Honduran capital, when they were intercepted and attacked by gunmen in a car and a motorcycle who shot them to death on Sundayday morning.

The three models were forced out of the vehicle and were executed in cold blood.

A man and a woman in their party were injured in the shootout and were taken to  Escuela Hospital for treatment.

The tragedy followed the arrest of Jose Miguel "Chepe" Handel the alleged leader of a drug trafficking organization that coordinated the shipment of tons of Colombian cocain via Mexican cartels to the United States.

He was taken into custody without struggle in San Pedro Sula on Thursday. Dailymailuk
