Japheth Bore, Alfred Keter and Geoffrey Kipkoech were charged stealing Silpa Achieng's four goats worth Sh20,000 and injuring her.
Nyando senior resident magistrate Bethwel Kimutai convicted them of the offences on January 19 at Katolo sublocation.
The prosecution said they were armed with clubs and other weapons. Bore and Kipkoech pleaded for leniency, Kipkoech saying he was his mother's sole caregiver. Kimutai noted that the sentence was in accordance with the law.
