Nigeria: PDP Chairman In Ebonyi State Shot Dead

Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ishielu Local Government Area of Ebonyi state, Mr Emeka Nworie ,was in the early hours of Saturday shot dead by gunmen in his residence at Ezzagu in the council area.


A source who pleaded anonymity said that the deceased died after he was shot several times by his assailants.

Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer, Chris Anyanwu, said that the assailants had approach the victim’s wife and demanded for money before shooting the husband.
