Nigeria: Thugs storm Enugu polling unit, several persons injured

Some unknown hoodlums few hours ago stormed a polling unit in Igbo-Eze South, Local Government Area of Enugu State, wounding some electorates in the process.



DAILY POST gathered from some of the electorates in the area that the thugs were allegedly aided by security officials.

The incident occurred at the Community Primary School, Itchi, the hometown of Barr. Okey Ezea, the APC governorship candidate.

“They stormed this place shooting sporadically and hitting our people with broken bottles and matchets”, a  said.

Meanwhile, over 50 policemen were seen heading to the area as at the time of filling this reports.
