Outside the Microsoft Theater, dozens and dozens of celebrities from music, television, movies, and more strutted down the red carpet, and posed for photographers. Fans watching from the sidelines made the festivities all the more exciting.
It was a culmination of non-stop fun for this year’s BET Experience weekend.With Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross hosting this year’s ceremony, they of course walked the red carpet before getting in some last-minute prep for the live show.
Others making glam appearances included Zendaya, Lil Mama, Flo Rida, Tori Kelly, and Boris Kodjo. Cameras also captured Michelle Williams, La La, Jay Ellis, and more.The star power only increase once the awards officially get underway.
Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, Kendrick Lamar, Alicia Keys, and Tyga are all among scheduled performers. Scheduled presenters were Laverne Cox, Michael B. Jordan, Kelly Rowland, and Michael Ealy.
Plus, Janet Jackson made a huge comeback after spending the last few years out of the public eye. Oh, the stars of “Empire” also came representing!
