Amaechi’s administration the most corrupt in Rivers state history - Tele Ikuru

The former Deputy Governor of Rives State has discribed the Amaech's administration as the most corrupt in the Sates's history while submitting the final report of the transition committee.

Ikuru said the former governor spent N812m to furnish his personal residence at the expense of the state, while N4.96bn was spent on Justice Karibi Whyte Hospital with no structure on the ground.

But the former Chief of Staff, Government House, Port Harcourt, Chief Tony Okocha, said Wike and Ikuru were part of Amaechi’s administration and should stop “playing the pot that called kettle black.”

Okocha said as a deputy governor, Ikuru presided over the cabinet meeting for more than 10 times and should also be willing to take responsibility for what he alleged
.
“I am shocked that Ikuru, who is one of the biggest beneficiaries of the past administration, could stand up to challenge Amaechi,” he said.
