Buhari holds meeting with governors


President Muhammadu Buhari and governors of the 36 states of the federation are  currently in an ongoing meeting  at the Aso Villa in Abuja.
The meeting is expected to sort out ways salaries of workers in some states would be paid.

According to a  reliable and well  informed  source, the meeting has just commenced and the atmosphere appears tensed between PDP and APC governors who are meeting with the President for the first time since his (Buhari) assumption of office.
The meeting which is holding inside the Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa has in attendance governors of Rivers, Ogun, Imo, Gombe, Benue, Delta, Niger, Kano, Katsina, Zamfara, Kogi, Borno and Jigawa.
Also in the meeting were governors of Kebbi, Kwara, Taraba, Ekiti, Ondo, Kaduna, Oyo, Osun, Edo, Anambra, Sokoto, Ebonyi, Lagos, Adamawa, Cross Rivers, Akwa Ibom and Yobe States.
Deputy Governors of Plateau and Bayelsa States represented their governors.
