Calixto is married to a Ghanaian, Ivan Musah, the pair met when Ivan went to the United States to study. They got married and came to Ghana with their children in October 2013 and have been frantically trying to integrate the family into the Ghanaian society.
Musah’s father, Cheyuo Musah, first reported the disappearance of Bertha and the children on June 28, 2015, as he claimed they had not been seen all day after leaving their home in Weija.
According to him, they were last seen at 10:30 am on Saturday, June 27, 2015.Cheyuo Musah told starrfmonline. that a neighbour claimed Montanez “mentioned she was taking the children to the West Hills Mall at Weija to buy them pizza” and they had not returned since then.
Musah fears his daughter-in-law and his grandchildren might have been abducted.Bertha Calixto Montanez holds a USA passport with reference number 458376941.
Although the police have appealed to the public to report their whereabouts at the Old Weija Police Station or the nearest police post,investigators say they suspect foul play.
