In a letter addressed to the Administration Police Commandant, The Republican Liberty Party together with its 5,000 naked Kenyans are set to throng the streets of Nairobi on 22nd and 23rd of July to protest Obama's growing and aggressive support for homosexuality.
The US planned visit to Kenya has created a huge hype among Kenyan’s of all walks of life. However, Obam's stand on homosexuality has sharply divided the nation with the majority of them warning against pro-gay rhetoric in a country that prides itself for being conservative when it comes to the topic of marriage.
According to the said Republican Liberty party leader Vincent Kidala "The procession shall be carried out by approximately 5,000 totally naked men and women to protest over Obama's open and aggressive support for homosexuality," Kidala said in his letter to the county commander on Monday.
"In
fact our party has a network of prostitutes in Nairobi, Nakuru and
other counties. This is where we shall get all these people whose
number we expect to increase," he told the Star on phone.He
said the prostitutes agreed to participate free of charge since they
will lose petronage if homosexuality is legalised in Kenya.
