Senate Okays Rotimi Amaechi’s Nomination As Miinister

The Senate after much deliberation today, Thursday, approved the nomination of former governor of Rivers State Rotimi Amaechi as minister of the Federal republic of Nigeria.
The senators rejected the recommendation of the Ethics and priviledge committee's which recommended that the Rotimi Amaechi should not be confirmed as Minister because of the corruption charges that he is yet to answer to at the appeal court.
