A 51 year old Pakistani man has confessed to strangling his 19 year old daughter to death,in what German police suspect was an honour killing.
The police suspect that the mother helped with the crime from the beginning, including disposing of the body.
It is believe that the daughter was killed after a disagreement over her plans to marry a man who was not acceptable to the parents, and that she was strangled to death with bare hands in her parents apartment late on Tuesday.
The parents are currently being held in custody in Darmstadt Frankfurt, in west Germany.
The victim's grandmother's wheelchair was used to carry her body to a vehicle and dumped by the roadside before it was discovered.
An aunt and uncle of the 19 year old girl, who were held by the police about their involvement in her killing were released after questioning.
