Mr Christopher Aboagye aka Kwaning 28 was pronouced dead on arrival at Oda Government Hospital where he was brought by the residents of Akyem Oda in the Estern Region of Ghana after being electrocuted.
Mr Aboagye was an electrician who after a power outage in his area was restored at 8:30 pm, his wooden shop caught fire sensing danger that fire might extend to his container kiosk climbed the container and started removing the electric wires on top of the kiosk, that was when he got electrocuted.
According to the Oda Divisional Police Commander Chief Superintendent Ebenezer Ampofo, Mr Aboagye's body has been deposited at Oda Government Hospital morgue.He said the police are investigating the cause of the victims death, while the Ghana National Fire Service are also doing the same.
