The Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) Sector Commander in Kwara State, Mary Wakama. has confirmed an accident which has left 11 people dead and eight critically injured.
The incident occurred along Ilorin/Mokwa Road in the early hours of Wednesday, May 27, after a head-on collision between Toyota Hiace bus with number plate GA 52 XA and a Turbo branded truck numbered XA 939 GZA.
The victims were said to have been trapped inside the bus.She blamed the tragedy on night travelling and excessive speed.
