Tunji Braithwaite Dies At 82
A prominent pro-democracy activist and the founder of the National Advance Party, Dr. Tunji Braithwaite, died on Monday morning at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos, Nigeria. He was aged 82.

IPOB: Nnamdi Kanu Refuses To Remove Handcuffs, Step Down From Van
A mild drama
took place within the premises of the Federal High Court in Abuja
this morning, as the detained leader of the Indigenous People of
Biafra (IPOB) Mr. Nnamdi Kanu, whose trial is billed to commence
today, refused to remove his handcuffs. It took the intervention of
his lead counsel, Chief Chuks Muoma, to persuade Kanu to step-down
from the prison van that brought him to court for trial. Though he
eventually succumbed to persuasion by his lawyer to alight from the
prison van, however, Kanu, swore that he would not allow anybody to
remove the handcuffs which he wore into the courtroom.

IPOB: Court Denies Kanu, Others Bail
Justice John Tsoho of the Federal High Court in Abuja has declined to release the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mr. Nnamdi Kanu on bail pending his trial.In a ruling today, the court also denied bail to two other pro-Biafra agitators, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi, who are facing trial with Kanu.

Nnamdi Kanu : Radio BiafraTransmitters Installed On MTN Masts —FG
The Federal Government of Nigeria has said that the transmitters for Radio Biafra, which has been accused of spreading secessionist agenda and campaigning for the carving out of a Biafra Republic from Nigeria, were found to be installed on MTN masts in Enugu and Anambra states.
According to the Federal Government, the installation of the transmitters on the telecommunications company’s masts was to ensure wider coverage for the radio.The headquarters of the radio station is “presumably in London.”
Flavour Got Married To Sandra Okagbue?
Over the weekend, the rumour mill was agog with the news that popular hip highlife singer Flavour has gotten married to one of the mothers of his two daughters, Sandra Okagbue.He was said to be in Anambra to consolidate the marriage to Sandra on Monday, December 28.
But contrary to this news, it was Flavour’s right hand man and manager Benjamin Omesiete who tied the knot traditionally with fiancee Ifeyinwa Onyuike in Nnimo, Anambra State.
