A fresh violence at Nwonko village in Wukari Local Goverment Area in Taraba state has
left about 27 people dead,while about 20 people were killed in Benue state.Scores were also injured.
Reports says attacks began at the early hours of the day leading to destructions of farmlands and properties.
Daniel Gani a House of assembly member representing Wukari constituency in the state said most of the victims are women and children.
The attackers came in large numbers making people to beleive they were Boko Haram insurgence from Maiduguri.
They also invaded Anyin in Logo Local Goverment area of Benue state and killed 20 persons, although there has been controvercies to the amount of bodies discovered so far, search for possible bodies are still ongoing.
