Nigeria: Footballer jailed for drug trafficking




A professional  footballer in Brazil, Umeh Henry has been sentence to 2 years
imprisonment for cocaine trafficking.Henry was found in unlawful possession of 15 grames of cocaine by the NDLEA operatives on October 6 last year on his arrival at the  Murtala.
Mohammed  international airport Ikeja, Lagos.


 Umeh  pleaded guilty and voluntarily owned up to his crime without wasting the court time and tax payer's money, he said the drug was for his personal use that he started taking it when a friend recommended it to him to address certain problems he was dealing with.
