Nigeria: INEC denies issuing actress Bimbo Akintola Celebrity Observer card

The Nigerian Independent Electoral Commission (INEC)  has denied using celebrities as Observers in the forth coming election  or issuing any celebrity observer cards.


This  came as a response to a  the picture posted by a Nollywood Actress, Bimbo AkintolaTuesday where she claimed that she was issued an INEC Celebrity observer card for the upcoming election.

The Commission made this known via its twitter handle yesterday, asking to know where the news of using celebrities as electoral observers came from.
