This was confirmed by the First Criminal Chamber of the Italian Supreme Court who rejected the appeal of the defense presented by the woman against the order of review of January 3 that confirmed her precautionary measure in prison.
Veronica was taken from her home on December 8 last year and was questioned for hours by the Italian investigators, who later arrested her after her son was found dead November 29, 2014 in Ragusa, Italy.
The reasons of the accuse, supported by Attorney Carmelo Petralia and substitute Marco Rota are the alleged "lies" told by the mother of Loris, who says she has taken her son to school, on that fateful morning, but the images of a cctv proved her wrong.
Other evidence are the plastic ties which Veronica gave to her sons's teachers, it tuned out to be compatible with the strap used to strangle the poor child.
