The out going Governo of Akwa Ibom State and Senator - elect, has called his people ungrateful.Akpabio, at the Ibom Hall, Uyo, during the valedictory thanksgiving service organised in his honour by the state government as part of the transition activities to his successor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, said he decided to forgive the people as he would be transiting to the Senate from May 29
Gorvernor Godswill Akpabio said : “I forgive you of your many sins against me, for your betrayal, false reports, blackmail, and ingratitude towards my efforts at developing the state. I forgive you because I bear no grudge against anyone.
“As a young man, I devoted my time and did my best for the development of the state. I am going back a fulfilled man without paying attention to what people may have said against me.
