Nigeria: Pandemonium in Abeokuta as secondary schools students clash


Pandemonium broke out in Abeokuta Ogun State, Nigeria, when  students of Lafenwa High School and Premier Grammar School who allegedly threw caution into the wind shortly after the West Africa Examination Council,WAEC.


 The clash forced many residents and passers-by to run helter-skelter to scamper for safety of their lives as the Secondary school students who were suspected to be cultists unleashed terror on the people in the area.

 They were armed with dangerous weapons such as charms, locally made chisels, marijuana cutlasses, broken bottles, cudgels among others.

 But, nine of them were arrested by men of Vigilante Service of Ogun state. Our correspondent gathered that the schools are stone’s throw to each other as their locations were almost in the same vicinity located in Abeokuta North Local Government Area of the State - See more at:
