who died of a heart attack on November 18 after a long battle
with kidney failure have been laid to rest.Jonah
Lomu's sons took one final journey with their father after an
emotional funeral service where they sung a hymn in front of almost
1,000 mourners.
Family and friends were joined by the Prince of Tonga, who represented the country of Lomu's birth, for the private ceremony in south Auckland.Following Monday's public celebration attended by 8,000 people at Eden Park, the home of New Zealand rugby, the smaller service was held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' in Mangere on Tuesday.

The meetinghouse was packed with mourners, including his wife Nadine, 34, and their sons Brayley, six, and Dhyreille, five, who together sang the popular Latter-day Saint hymn I Am A Child of God from an altar surrounded by white roses.
