The hoodlums who blocked the vehicles opened fire on the electoral officials and it turned into a gun battle between the police and the hoodlums and in the process one person was fatally wounded and feared died.

A source in the community said some units have been razed by angry youths. Although some communities in the area carried on with the voting process pending the arrival of the sensitive materials.
