Nigeria:Emir of Wamba in Nasarawa State urges politicians to accept election results in good faith

 Alhaji Musa Nagogo, the Emir of Wamba in Nasarawa State, on Thursday urged politicians to accept the outcome of the March 28 and April 11 elections in good faith. He made the call during an interview with newsmen at Wamba Local Government Area, Nasarawa State.


He said leadership as an act of God; God gives power to whoever he wishes. The electorate should vote for God-fearing leaders in the interest of peace and development.

 Nagogo said that as a traditional ruler  his role is to preach peace and unity and to advise his sunjects and other Nigerians to live in peace an tolorence irrespective of ethnic, religious and political affiliation.

He also stated that no nation or society can develop in an atmosphere of rancour and confusion, and that the security challenges facing some parts of the country have affected the socio - economic development of the country.

The Emir urged  all Nigerians   to shun violence and resist to be used by selfish individuals to make troublre in the Nigerian general elections, he called on the populance to pray for successful and peaceful elections.

He called on the youths to always respect constituted authorities, to be law abiding and that they should egage themselves in meaningful ventures in order to contribute their quota to national development
