married! It has been confirmed that they hosted a secret wedding at their Los Angeles home on
Wednesday. Aniston held what was originally said to be a
surprise 44th birthday party for Theroux at their Bel Air mansion,
but the more than 70 guests were actually on hand for a wedding
ceremony. Famous attendees included close pals Chelsea Handler, Lisa
Kudrow, Howard Stern, Ellen DeGeneres, Emily Blunt and John
Krasinksi. Others witnessing the nuptials included Jason Bateman,
Samantha Ronson, Jennifer Meyer, Terry Richardson, Sia, and Lake
Bell.
The
couple went to great lengths to keep the wedding under wraps, but
eyebrows were raised by a series of paparazzi photos taken outside
the property, including one showing a pastor entering the home, and
appearing to be holding a Bible. Furthermore, workers were seen
bringing in a massive cake that featured a puppet likeness
(think Avenue
Q or
“Sesame Street”) of both Theroux and Aniston on top. The couple
also reportedly had a shed erected over the last week to hide
supplies for the event, covered their pool for a makeshift dance
floor, and confiscated phones of everyone working on the shindig.Theroux’s
actual birthday isn’t until Monday. Aniston and Theroux became engaged while celebrating his
special day back in 2013. Now they’ve tied the knot almost exactly
