• Top Shiite Cleric Nimr Al-Nimr was among those killed in Saudi Arabia’s biggest mass execution for 35 years, A news which  has met with a furious international reaction.Most of the 47 executed were convicted of carrying out attacks on behalf of al Qaeda in Saudi Arabia more than a decade ago.

Vacancy: According to an advert posted on the civil service jobs portal, Saudi Arabia is now advertising for eight new executioners.

It’s one of the most gruesome jobs imaginable, with low pay and no special qualifications required.

The Islamic kingdom is  recruiting extra staff to carry out an increasing number of death sentences - usually done by public beheading.

The main role is ‘executing a judgement of death,  but workers must also perform amputations on those convicted of lesser offences.  

 Saudia Arabia is said to be in the top five countries in the world for putting people to death, according to Amnesty International figures.

Saudi Arabia: Man divorces his wife because she said hi to her former boyfriend

According to court documents, a man in  Saudi Arabia  has  decided to divorce his wife after catching her saying hi to her former boyfriend.

 The man and his wife went to a park to spend the day.At some point, the man observed his wife talking to a strange man. When he confronted his wife, she said that the man is her former boyfriend and she just said hi to him.
