Today, along with my brother ex-Heads of State, I visited Sokoto state to celebrate former President Shehu Usman Aliyu Shagari as he marked his 90th birthday.
President Shagari is a living legend of democracy and Nigeria will ever appreciate him for his services to the nation as a democratically elected leader and as a Statesman who guided his successors with the sagacity acquired from his years of leadership.
