Residents Uses Voodoo To Scare PHCN Officials

Residents Guaraka in Tafa Local Government Area of Niger state, in a bid to prevent officials of the Power Holding Company Of Nigeria (PHCN) from disconnecting their electricity cables , resulted to scare tactics as they used Voodoo to scare the officials away.


The women of the area, while resisting the task force of the power distribution company in charge of their zone from disconnecting their electric power, they tied a peice of red cloth, adorned with cowries, calabash and other ritual ornaments to the Electricity pole, daring the officials to climb the pole and disconnect their light.
