Christ Embassy Charges N1000 Gate Fee For New Year'S Eve Service

Christ Embassy is in the news again but this time it is not about the rumoured circumstances surrounding the head pastors dirvorce no is it about the miracles. Aparently most members who worshipped at the church head quarters in Oregun Lagos, were on december 31st night turned back , as they were refused entry into the church for not paying gate fees.

According to reports by PM News, Christ Embassy charged worshippers at the church to pay the sum of N1000 each before gaining entry into the church for the cross over service.

Embittered members of the Church in their view says that coming to church to serve God should be free of charge instead of the church trying to cash-in on the yuletide celebration.

It will be recalled that a nation wide condemnation trailled this same act by this Church when on december 2010 the church introduced gate fees for the cross over service which is usually presided over by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.

The Church auditorium which has a capacity of around 20,000 sitters, is reported to have generated atleast N20 million from sales of gate passes for the cross over service.
